How does our Solar-Cooker works?
Our Cooker focuses the in falling Solar Energy in one area ("Focus"), in which the cooking utensils are fixed. To keep the focus the mirrors follow the sun on a two-axled. This happens on the one side by moving the fork on which the mirrors are fixed, on the other side by repositioning the entire Solar Cooker.
Is the Cooker not in use, the mirrors are closed into a vertical position. This makes a compact measurement possible.
The advantages of our Solar Cooker
- Large amount of Power due to 2m² mirror surface.
- While the Solar-Cooker is focused, the cook is not in contact with direct sunbeam, even while removing the cooking utensils from the focus there is no danger through direct sun light.
- Because of the unique design there are no mirrors under the cooking area, this makes it harder to dirty the mirrors.
- In a closed position, the Solar-Cooker only needs little space.
- The design allows cooking in large pots (our new pot system makes parallel cooking possible).
- Simple and strong construction.
